Maximise your savings with government incentives

Thanks to the Australian Government's Renewable Energy Target, investing in energy-efficient water heating has never been more worthwhile.

iHot is a CEC Approved inverter, compliant with all approved product listing T&C’s and Australian standards — ensuring eligibility for all applicable government incentives and programs

Small-scale Technology Certificates (STC)

Under the current Small-scale Renewable Energy Scheme (SRES), eligible energy-saving systems can qualify for STCs. These come with a financial value and can help to reduce the upfront cost of installation.

STCs are calculated based on several factors including system size, location, market value, and the deeming period — your installer will be able to confirm your eligibility and determine these for you.

In most cases, your installer will handle the whole process, applying the value of STCs as a discount at the time of installation.

The SRES program runs until December 31, 2030. The closer we get to the end of the program, the shorter the deeming period, earning you less STCs.

Long term savings

While incentives help reduce upfront installation costs, ultimately the biggest benefit of iHot is the ongoing energy bill savings.

iHot intelligently controls how solar energy flows in your system, increasing household energy resilience and achieving greater energy independence.
